Spend an exciting weekend in FPWC’s Buffer Zone!

12.06.2012 08:48 Age: 5 yrs

On the weekend from June 9th to 10th for the first time a group of tourists enjoyed the beauty of FPWC’s Buffer Zone. All in all 28 persons among them 15 children had the chance to explore nature and to relax in the remoteness of wilderness. As FPWC has prepared a flat and secure ground near the ranger station the guests could stay overnight in tents and feel themselves really as a part of the magnificent mountains around. Experiencing the sunrise, listening to the singing birds at early morning and enjoying a hearty breakfast by the open fireside shapes for sure an unforgettable experience for all nature loving guests who will visit the Buffer Zone. In particular for parents with children the area offers a broad range of opportunities to spend an adventurous and unforgettable day. Under the guidance of FPWC’s rangers the two days of the guests were filled with hiking, horse riding, barbeque and a picnic at the riverside.

Less than two hours away from the dusty and hot streets of Yerevan city centre FPWC’s Buffer Zone offers a perfect opportunity to experience the “real” Armenia – its marvellous landscape, delicious natural food  and the cordial hospitality of those who love and work  for nature.

If you want to visit the Buffer Zone for a weekend or for a day excursion please contact FPWC under (010)-562362 and ask for our conservation manager Manuk Manukyan.
